Being selected to qualify for asylum or refugee status there are certain conditions that must be met. On February 22, 2019 a petition to commence deportation proceedings for removal from the United States AND/OR Prosecution of Ilhan Omar was filed.
Refugee status is a form of protection that may be granted to people who meet the definition of refugee and who are of special humanitarian concern to the United States.
Under 8 USC 1101 (42)
(42) The term “refugee” means (A) any person who is outside any country of such person’s nationality or, in the case of a person having no nationality, is outside any country in which such person last habitually resided, and who is unable or unwilling to return to, and is unable or unwilling to avail himself or herself of the protection of, that country because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinionU.S. House
According to publicly available information Omar whilst living in Mombasa, Kenya her circumstances don’t meet the definition of 8 USC 1101 (42) to be admitted as a refugee because in Kenya she was safe and had successfully received asylum as international law depicts to the nearest bordering country. Was she admitted under “Temporary Protected Status”? If so according to the law she is ineligible for citizenship.
I reached out to both USCIS and ICE asking for the documentation and terms of Ilhan Omar’s entry into the United States via online FOIA request submission on February 13, 2019 and for her husbands on February 14, 2019 and haven’t received a response on Omar yet, only on her alleged second husband/brother.
Omar obfuscates all her history and has also declined to declare her siblings publicly. Based on her own social media she attended NDSU but her official page www.ilhanomar.com excludes that information. Though “Meet Ilhan” official page cites a position at the University of Minnesota PRIOR to her degree being received at NDSU that would usually required to fulfill such a role.
Omar will be the keynote speaker at the Council for American Islamic Relations’s (“CAIR’s”)4th Annual Valley Banquet on March 23, 2019at Woodland Hills, California. The U.S. Department of Justice had previously named CAIR as an unindicted co-conspirator in a criminal prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation in Dallas, Texas for allegedly funneling millions of dollars to the terrorist organization Hamas. Additionally, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) named CAIR a terrorist organization along with al-Qaeda and ISIS in 201According to the Petition Filed
In addition, Ilhan Omar was a keynote speaker at The Islamic Relief event that was held in Florida on February 23, 2019 which was discovered to be raising funds for ISIS bride Hoda Muthana.
Audio from a recent press conference raises a lot more questions:
According to the petition, it seems that Ilhan Omar may be facing the same fate as Hoda Muthana aka ISIS bride.
