President Donald J. Trump announced via Twitter on Sunday “A Salute To America,” will be held at the Lincoln Memorial on July 4th, 2019 and promised the event to be one of the largest gatherings in DC to date. Liberals swooped in to express their loathing for such a patriotic event, with some even responding to things the president didn’t even state in his tweet!
“HOLD THE DATE! We will be having one of the biggest gatherings in the history of Washington, D.C., on July 4th. It will be called “A Salute To America” and will be held at the Lincoln Memorial. Major fireworks display, entertainment and an address by your favorite President, me!”
Twitter user BallsOut (sigh) stated, ““Hold the date?” Oddly enough, I think a lot of the country is off work that day.”
Ryan Hill, (@RyanHillMl) left 8 tweets in response to the president’s tweet, cause you know MUH hatred and all that. The majority of his replies were nods to FORMER President Obama, seasoned with a light peppering of Putin and a quick history lesson on ‘MERICA.
Mr. Hill leaves his 8-tweet response with a shot of a large crowd and states “Many People are Saying… It is the Biggest Crowd of all time! O B A M A!”
Another one of my favorite responses is from some blue check mark with 7 emoji-bowls of noodles for a name, @TheGnudz, who simply replied, “Choke on a hot dog, Fuckface.”

Nicholas Monks (@nicholasmonks) proposed TRUMP DAY on February 30th. The replies/jokes get more and more lame, if you can believe that.
“Its a shame we don’t have a Nat’l holiday celebrating this man and his genius and guidance. Lets do it, America. Retweet to make it happen. YUGE party. Flags and BBQ. I propose TRUMP DAY once a year, every FEBRUARY 30th!!! Lets get our great leader behind this!”
The official account Palmer Report (@PalmerReport) replied, “It’s cute how you think you’re still going in be in office by the Fourth of July:”

Twitter user Ida Skibenes (@ida_skibenes) replied, “Hold the date. Did you seriously just ask the American to “hold the date”? On July 4th? You should sue whoever dropped you on your head when you were born.”
Twitter user StephenGraham68 (@Steg68) replied, “Ahhh the 4th of July when we celebrate Republicans visiting Russia to commit treason”
Then we have the responses where liberal lovelies reply in a feeble attempt to call President Trump out, but by simply making up whatever they HEARD him say, even though President Trump did NOT state such in his tweet. Here are some prime examples of liberals hearing what they want to hear, and if it doesn’t fit their narrative, they simply make things up. Very Smollett-esque.

Twitter user Emily H. (@ethrogi) replies, “Actually Donald, we already had this holiday…it’s called the 4th of July. There has always been a huge celebration in DC. So no, you don’t get to claim credit for this either.”
Another blue checkmark Twitter user Erin frenemy of the people Ryan (@morninggloria) – Senior Editor of the The Daily Beast (which stays afloat because of Trump – otherwise, what would they cover?) replies, “Thank you for inventing the Fourth of July sir bless you”
Again, President Trump never claimed for this event to be a replacement of The Fourth Of July, but liberals have selective hearing and make up whatever they want when things don’t fit their narrative.
While the left was busy trying to rewrite what the President tweeted and stewing over their continued hatred for POTUS, Trump supporters were planning (jokingly) on how they could set up limo rides to make sure and attend.
Joy Villa replied, “I’ll be there! “

Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) replied most epicly to someone asking “Weren’t we going to have Fourth of July anyway?”
“Yes but now we’re going to 4th of July harder.”
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who saw how hard the left was struggling with this, Quite Frankly (@PolitcalOrgy) comments, “Look at the struggle in the comments below lol the jokes are so lame”
There’s no sign of a cure for Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) anytime soon, but in the meantime, continue to enjoy the liberal meltdowns and spinning heads whenever President Trump tweets. It is, as we all know, the very BEST part of being on Twitter.
