The title says it all. I have throughout the years posted on social media lots of #AcostaisaBaby but today the true nature of his infantile, unprofessional and his self proclaimed #CNNPrivilege shined.
This just happened
Why? At today’s press conference Jim Acosta wanted “another turn”. He felt he should have more time to ask questions because the rest of the press pool is not as important. He asked his question, which was really more like a statement that criticized the President and spoke as if he was an immigration expert explaining that an organized mob of people coming to the US border are not invaders but immigrants. Acosta, tell that to the Greeks? Their “immigrants” washed up on their shores by the thousands and they couldn’t send them back to drown. Whole cities were overtaken outnumbering locals.
Here is a video for you to watch Jim Acosta demanding another question when his turn was up. He asked at least 3 questions and the President answered them. In turn, he assaulted the White House staffer that tried to take the microphone away from him to give to the next reporter. This is something I would expect from a child.
My question to the other press corp members there. Why does Jim Acosta sit in the front? #WhitePrivilege or #CNNPrivilege
His turn was done why was he insisting? Very unprofessional and NOT the job of any White House Correspondent.
On Wednesday night, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders made it clear as to why Jim Acosta’s White House Press Pass was suspended “until further notice.
Jim Acosta clearly placed his hands on a young White House staffer who attempted to take the microphone from Acosta who refused to end his “turn” and demanded to ask another question.
President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable. It is also completely disrespectful to the reporter’s colleagues not to allow them an opportunity to ask a question.
